Kane Diep is a filmmaker, social strategist and speaker who helped grow Prime Video’s TikTok from launch to 23.5 million followers. He led the team and strategy behind Plot Pitches, the Prime Video series that earned 600M+ views and won the 2023 Webby Award for Best Social Video Series.

At BuzzFeed, Kane directed and produced more than 200 videos, exploring family, identity and creative experimentation. He also led Team USA’s YouTube channel strategy through Shareability for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics. He directed and co-produced Uploaded: The Asian American Movement, a feature-length documentary nominated for the Grand Jury Award for Non-Fiction at the 2012 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Raised in San Diego by Chinese-Vietnamese refugee parents, Kane connects personal storytelling with creative leadership. Based in Los Angeles, he consults with creative teams and speaks about storytelling, representation and finding a voice. His university appearances include Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University.
